Art students create a unique mural for Weston Museum

Mural will hang in the the re-vamped museum’s permanent exhibtion

A group of very enthusiastic Y10 Art students, along with a couple of sixth formers, recently worked with local artist Mary Flower to create an exciting work using regional soils and mud!

Each student completed an abstract panel that will form part of a large mural that will be part of the permanent exhibtion in the  Weston Museum which re-opens in August 2017 after a two year refurbishment.    The project has been funded by the Arts Council.

Mary was extremely impressed by the students’ response to the task and the quality of work produced. Well done to all involved.
