Charity week - students to row across the channel!

St Katherine’s students and staff are delighted and excited to be holding our Charity Week in support of Off The Record (OTR) and Children’s Hospice South West. Students have planned a range of events and activities including each year group rowing ‘across the channel’ on rowing machines, sweet sales, guess the number of masks in a jar competition, a sponsored mileage challenge and the chance to soak a teacher!

OTR is a mental health organisation and social movement by and for young people aged 11-25 living in Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire. They provide support, promote and defend the mental health, rights and social position of young people. Organisations like OTR are needed by young people now more than ever before.

Children’s Hospice South West cares for children with life-limiting conditions, making the most of their short and precious lives through the provision of the best possible hospice care. They provide specialist palliative care, respite for the whole family, a sibling service for brothers and sisters, emergency support, end of life care and a bereavement service for as long as is needed.

The wider St Katherine's community can contribute by encouraging students to participate in Charity Week activities and by donating via the Just Giving pages:
