Year 9 Madrid trip - book by 15 January
The Modern Foreign Languages Faculty are offering Year 9 students the opportunity to visit Madrid, one of Europe’s most beautiful cities. The trip runs from 9th – 13th July 2018, during Activities Week.
Students will experience a variety of cultural and linguistic opportunities during visits to the historical highlights of the city including Plaza Mayor, Retiro Park, Plaza de España, Puerta del Sol, Museum Reina Sofia. The students will also enjoy a full day at Warner Brothers Theme Park, offering endless thrills and spills in Spain’s most famous theme park.
To change the pace we will visit San Miguel, Madrid’s bustling and colourful indoor market before strolling along to Caixa Forum and the Gran Via where there will be the opportunity to do some souvenir shopping. To take advantage of the Spanish weather we will take a trip to enjoy the adrenaline rush that is the Aquapolis water park.
