Justin Humphreys, Headteacher said:

"Above all the noise, another great set of outcomes for the students of St Katherine’s, securing many of the highest grades across both our academic and vocational pathways. Great progress has been made by the students with so many individual success stories. Students deserve this personal success, reflecting their dedication and we celebrate this success together. Teachers are rightly proud of the achievements within their classes."

The results that students have received today are an honest reflection of the commitment and dedication that our young people have shown over the last two years, resulting in 95% of students securing their first choice future pathway. Students are successfully progressing onto many Russell Group Universities, apprenticeships and employment opportunities and we wish all of our students continued success on the next stage of their journey."

Geraint Davies, St Katherine’s Head of Sixth Form, added:

"It is difficult to overstate the sense of pride felt on a day like this. In spite of the innumerable challenges that have been thrown at the young people in Year 13, we can report a truly exceptional collection of results for this cohort. While their final year at St Katherine’s may not have looked like any before, or indeed like any of us wanted, we know that each and every one of these students worked tirelessly to achieve these grades.

While the results themselves are hugely impressive, equally striking is the diverse and fascinating array of destinations our students are heading to, with exciting and fulfilling lives ahead of them. We thank them for all they have contributed to St Katherine’s during their time here, and look forward to welcoming them back one day to hear of all the wonderful things they have achieved.”
