Trailblazers is an exciting scheme which allows Year 7 students to learn a brass or woodwind instrument at a heavily subsidised rate. The scheme delivers small group tuition and includes the free loan of an instrument for the year. Trailblazers students also become members of the Trailblazers orchestra and will be involved in the Trailblazers bandcamp day which includes a series of masterclasses, workshops and a concert performance. The scheme is open to students that already play an instrument to a good standard but who want to take up a new instrument. However, it is particularly aimed at students and families that have never really considered learning an instrument at all - we want you to get involved!

The scheme is open to all students who will be in Year 7 in September 2026. Please register here by 10th July.
