Pupil Premium was introduced in April 2011. This funding is directed at children who are disadvantaged, with eligibility of children for free school meals at any time in the last six years being used as the indicator. Children who have been looked after for at least six months are also eligible for this funding. A smaller amount of money is available for children of Service families.
From 2013, DfE and Ofsted are using the term ‘disadvantaged’ instead of ‘Pupil Premium’. ‘Other’, refers to students who are not disadvantaged whom we compare against. Click on the links below for full reports:
