'Alice meets Wonderland' - a wonderful performing arts collaboration

Year 7 drama and 6th form elective students recently collaborated on a creative production of 'Alice meets Wonderland'
The production was created by the extra-curricular performing arts club which is led by 6th form elective students who want to inspire others with their love of the arts and give students something hands on and thought provoking and above all enable them to be creative.  It has been a pleasure seeing these 6th form students - who have all performed in school shows during their time at St Katherine's - act on their desire to give something back to students in lower years.
Year 13 students Bella and Ty Cornick led the project - Bella wrote the script and directed while Ty created and ran the lighting design - and were ably supported by Amy Smith, Grace Stepanuik, Georgia Holbrook and Mia Reed.
The Year 7 students have been excellent and highly motivated to work alongside the 6th form.  Together the students created a fabulous night for friends, family and staff alike. I just wanted to take this moment to thank all who attended and supported our young people at the tea party prior to performance. It is an incredible achievement and I am very proud of all of you.
Huge congratulations, you did it!
