Pupils and their familes step up to the STEM challenge
Pupils and their families showed off their STEM skills at the STEM Family Challenge.
Hosted by the Engineering Development Trust the evening started with information about careers in engineering then things got serious when pupils and families were challenged to build a rollercoaster out of card. There were some impressive, creative designs - congratulations to everyone who took part!
The evening concluded with a talk from Hitachi Rail about local apprenticeship and graduate STEM opportunities.
As one parent said " I wanted to say thanks for organising this great event, we had a very enjoyable and challenging evening."
