Go4SET students visit the Defence Academy
Students enjoy a fascinating experience exploring work within the Ministry of Defence
Our Year 9 Go4SET team have been working on a STEM project to design a new railway station for Portishead.
As part of this project students have been working with the Engineering Development trust and the Ministry of Defence and they visitied the Defence Academy to find out more about working within the Ministry of Defence.
The students spent the day taking part in battle simulations, a light weapons workshop, a field artillery role play as well as time to explore armoured fighting vehicles from around the world.
