Students given an insight into Personal Training as a career
As a cutain raiser to St Katherine’s Careers Week, the Sky Sports Group were visited by Emma Bexon, a personal trainer based locally in Portbury, who shared some valuable tips on Personal Training as a career.
Emma. a level 4 personal trainer and trained in multiple areas of fitness. spoke to the group about how she got into personal training and gave the group an overview of some of the careers available in exercise and fitness – perhaps one of the fastest growing and evolving areas of the sports industry. Emma then led the students for a practical session with the brief to work the students as hard as she would work some of her clients. The students were given a fairly tough workout (there are quite a few grimaces and pained looks in some of the photographs!) and they came into school the following day all complaining of muscle soreness – job done Emma0
