North Somerset debate competition

On Thursday February 27th, we were proud to host the North Somerset Debate competition (formerly WoodSpring) in our Sixth Form Centre, overseen by the MP for North Somerset, Sadik Al-Hassan.
Teams from multiple North Somerset schools debated whether "The UK should rejoin the EU". While both teams from St Katherine's debated excellently, unfortunately they weren't successful with going into the next round. Well done to participants Hector, Sophia, Charlie and Sam and huge thanks to Ms Jefferson for all her work arranging the debate.
