Year 13 impress with their lab skills
On 23rd September our Year 13 biology class went to We The Curious to carry out a genetic test on themselves.
They were testing to see if they had the gene to be able to test a chemical called PTC. They used specialised lab equipment that most students won't come across until university so this was a brilliant opportunity for them to extend their lab skills and knowledge. They learned some mind-blowing facts about DNA and discovered something new about their genotype!
We The Curious staff said they hadn't seen results like these for a long time - so well done Year 13 on their precise lab skills!
